Is the Google Pixel 9’s Pink Color Option a Game Changer in the Smartphone Market?

Google recently confirmed the upcoming launch of its flagship Pixel 9 series on August 13, alongside the anticipated debut of Android 15 OS and various accessories. A sneak peek into the new Pixel 9, shared early by Hani Mohamed Bioud on X from Algeria, unveils a striking new pink variant named “Peony,” inspired by its glossy shade reminiscent of the vibrant flower.

The preview clip showcases the Pixel 9’s sleek design, featuring flatter edges and a more prominent, rounded camera module compared to its predecessor. While the device in the video appears inactive, suggesting it might be a prototype, reports hint at a generous 256GB internal storage option for the Pixel 9.

Expected to run on the Google Tensor G4 chipset, the Pixel 9 promises enhanced performance and improved thermal efficiency over previous models, potentially boasting 12GB of RAM—a significant upgrade from the Pixel 7 and 8’s 8GB RAM. The official unveiling is scheduled for August 13, with rumors also hinting at a larger Pixel 9 Pro XL model and possibly even a new foldable device from Google.
