Pratt & Whitney: Enhancing Customer Support with New Bengaluru Service Centre

Pratt & Whitney Launches New Customer Service Centre in Bengaluru

Pratt & Whitney, a leading US aerospace company, announced the launch of a new Customer Service Centre (CSS) in Bengaluru on Wednesday.

This facility is part of the India Capability Centre and will enhance customer service and operational support for the 68,000 Pratt & Whitney Canada engines in use worldwide.

Located alongside Pratt & Whitney’s supply chain, engineering, and digital transformation hubs in India, the CSS will offer various services, including MRO support, spare part management, engine leasing, engine reliability analysis, and contract administration.

Employing over 150 aerospace experts and engineers, the centre will support a global customer service ecosystem.

The new facility will cater to a diverse clientele, including domestic and international airlines, original equipment manufacturers, MROs, regulatory bodies, and small operators.

“With the new Customer Service Centre, we are leveraging our existing investments in India and using regional talent to enhance our product and service reliability and customer experience,” said Nivine Kallab, Vice President of Customer Programs, Pratt & Whitney Canada.

Pratt & Whitney Canada’s turboprop engines power the majority of India’s regional jet fleet, including ATRs and DHC-8-400 planes.

“We have invested over USD 40 million in India across our centres and expanded our talent pool to over 600 employees in the last three years,” said Sandeep Sharma, Director of Capability Centre, Pratt & Whitney (UTCIPL).

The CSS aims to drive the company’s global service transformation and achieve operational excellence.
