“How Delhi-Based Stanza Living Secured Rs 110Cr in Funding: A Closer Look”

Stanza Living, a leading managed accommodation provider, has purportedly secured Rs 110 crore ($13 million) in a bridge funding round spearheaded by Alpha Wave.
As per an Entrackr report, this round signifies the first equity infusion for the Delhi-based startup in more than three years.
Back in March 2022, the startup clinched $57 million in debt funding from Kotak Mahindra Bank and RBL Bank. To date, it has amassed over $230 million through diverse equity and debt financing rounds.
Who Are the Investors?
In the recent funding round, Alpha Wave contributed Rs 83 crore, while Matrix Partners, Accel India, and Peak XV collectively invested Rs 27 crore.
Alpha Wave, formerly Falcon Edge, emerges as the principal stakeholder, holding 26.62% of the shares, trailed by Matrix Partners and Accel.
What’s Stanza Living’s Current Valuation?
As per insights from startup data intelligence platform TheKredible, Stanza Living’s valuation has seen a modest rise to approximately Rs 3,900 crore ($470 million), up from Rs 3,525 crore ($424 million) in the preceding equity round.
Stanza Living’s revenue from operations notably escalated to Rs 442 crore in FY23, marking a significant surge from Rs 115 crore in FY22. However, there was also a notable uptick in losses, increasing by 18.71% to Rs 495 crore in FY23 compared to Rs 417 crore in FY22.
