“I observed a senior individual securing one end of a chain to his suitcase and the other to his hand during a train journey; witnessing this drove home the need for a solution to ease travellers’ luggage woes,” reflects Murthy on the genesis of Travel Cloth.

How Does it Operate?

Describing the mechanics of Travel Cloth, Murthy detailed, “Upon booking our service, we coordinate the retrieval of the traveler’s luggage prior to their departure. Depending on the selected service and travel distance, we collect the luggage 2-4 days beforehand.”

He emphasized that the service guarantees timely delivery of luggage to the destination prior to the traveler’s arrival, facilitating a seamless and stress-free travel experience without the burden of luggage.

In a saturated travel industry, Travel Cloth distinguishes itself by providing a convenient door-to-door luggage service, according to Murthy.

Although Travel Cloth operates as a bootstrapped venture currently, it anticipates attracting external investors to bolster its operational capabilities.
